Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo on the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was produced at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 following a civil ceremony. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk told fans of the show the good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she was ready to return to her work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of final season of production. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
