Allison Brooks Janney, an American actress, was born in the year 1959. Her work on the screen as well as the stage have been highly praised throughout the span of her 3-decade career. Janney has been the recipient of many awards. This includes the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as many others. She has won seven Primetime Emmy Awards were also awarded to Janney. Two Tony Awards were nominated. Janney was originally from Boston and was raised close to Dayton within Ohio. J. Cregg as part of NBC's politic series The West Wing from 1999-2006, where she received four Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney won the Primetime Emmy Award for 2014 Outstanding Guest Actress in the Drama Series, after her performance in the role of Margaret Scully on the Showtime series Masters of Sex. Janney received nominations several times in the Primetime Emmy Awards and twice took home the Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Series.
